A Hicksville woman has been arrested after holding up a cabdriver at knifepoint early Wednesday in the hamlet, Nassau County police said.

No one was injured.

According to detectives, the robbery happened at 12:30 a.m. after the taxi driver picked up Ingris Reyes, 22, in Hempstead.

Police said the male victim, 20, drove to Reyes’ destination in the vicinity of Jerusalem Avenue and 11th Street in Hicksville but when he requested the fare, she displayed a knife and demanded his money.

The victim complied and Reyes, of Ninth Street, fled south on Jerusalem Avenue with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

An investigation was conducted and Reyes was arrested at her house nearby, police said.

Reyes, charged with first-degree robbery, was scheduled for arraignment Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
