TD Bank branch in Deer Park robbed, cops say

Suffolk detectives said a man robbed a Deer Park branch of TD Bank Monday afternoon.

The suspect entered the bank at 2178 Deer Park Ave. at about 2:11 p.m., demanded money from a teller and ran off through the parking lot after a teller complied with his request, Pattern Crime Unit detectives said.

He was described as about 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, unshaven and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, red sweatpants and sunglasses.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
