Teen stabbed on Farmingville street, police say

Suffolk County police are investigating the stabbing of a teenager on Tuesday in Farmingville.
Police said a 17-year-old was walking on Abner Drive and Pineaire Avenue at about 8:30 p.m. when a man approached him and stabbed him in the left torso.
The victim was in stable condition at Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.
