Three charged in Bellport home burglary
Three men were arrested Tuesday on burglary charges shortly after they allegedly broke into a home in Bellport, Suffolk police said.
William Morning, 19, of Michigan Avenue, Terrance Harris, 20, of Bellport Avenue, and Daniel Williams, 24, of Doane Avenue - all of Bellport - were charged with second degree burglary for a break-in at an unoccupied house about noon on Bayview Avenue, police said. The arrests were made as the men ran away from the house after police received a 911 call.
Morning and Harris were also charged with three additional counts of burglary for incidents in Bellport and East Patchogue during the past three weeks.
All three were to be held overnight for arraignment Wednesday in First District Court, Central Islip.
