Three men were shot, one fatally, outside a McDonald's restaurant in Hempstead late Saturday night, Nassau police said.

The men were in the parking lot of the restaurant at 340 Peninsula Blvd. at 11:15 p.m. when the shooting occurred.

One of the men was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other two were treated for their injuries at area hospitals.

Police did not release the identity of the slain man, or of the two injured men.

Investigators say they don't have a description of who shot the men. Anyone with more information on the shootings should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-244-TIPS.
