Tires, rims stolen from Westbury Fiat, Nassau police say
Nassau County’s Third Squad detectives are investigating the theft of 20 tires and rims from Westbury Fiat early Tuesday.
The subject or subjects entered the Jericho Turnpike property through a hole in a chain-link fence on Westbury Road, police said. That was about 2:50 a.m.
A floor jack was used to remove tires and rims from at least six vehicles, which were left elevated on cinder blocks, causing damage, police said. The loss and damage amounts to more than $30,000, police said.
