She thought they were there to repair her garage door. Instead, police said, the trio robbed her — at gunpoint.

Now, Nassau County police have released information about the armed residential robbery, which took place Friday afternoon at a home on Wildwood Road in West Hempstead. And, police have released sketches of two of the men wanted.

The robbery occurred inside the house at around 2:45 p.m., police said. The victim was not injured, though police said she was robbed of cash, jewelry and a cellphone.

Police said the homeowner believed the trio were at her home to repair a garage door and said that one of the suspects asked to use the bathroom.

As the woman escorted the suspect to the bathroom, police said a second suspect confronted her with a handgun — demanding cash and other items. The victim complied, police said, and the suspects then fled the scene in a grayish-blue older model Chevrolet. Additional details were not immediately available, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
