Nassau County police said a man suspected in a Saturday morning robbery in Elmont stuck a gun in his victim's mouth, then pistol-whipped him with it.

Three suspects -- Oshinsky Labossiere, 18, Terrence Philips, 19, both of Elmont, and another man still at large -- approached a parked car at Oakley Avenue and E Street at 12:15 a.m. and told the two men sitting inside to hand over everything they had, according to police.

The men complied but Labossier, police said, e pressed a gun against the face of one man and then put it in his mouth, and hit one of the men in the eye with the barrel of his gun before the trio drove off.

When police later located their vehicle at Philips' Oakley Avenue home, about one-tenth of a mile away from where the alleged robbery occurred, Labossiere and Philips were still in it. Labossiere was arrested; Philips ran into his home and refused to come out, police reported. He was brought out and arrested by officers from the Bureau of Special Operations. The third man was no longer in the vehicle and police are still looking for him.

Police said the man with eye injuries was treated at a hospital, but they did not say which one.

The two were arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead, on charges of robbery and attempted robbery.
