Five young men and two boys face charges in the robbery of a 15-year-old boy in front of Uniondale High School just after classes let out on Thursday, police said.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises when he “was kicked and punched about the head and chest” and his iPhone 7 Plus was stolen at 2:40 p.m. in front of the Goodrich Street school, police said

Gang detectives were involved in the case, though Nassau County police on Friday declined to cite any gang involvement or affiliation.

Witnesses saw the seven suspects enter a red Nissan Murano after the robbery and drive away, police said.

The car was stopped in the area of Chester and Henry streets and all seven occupants were arrested, police said.

“The iPhone was recovered from the vehicle,” police said in a news release.

The suspects face charges of two counts of second-degree robbery, police said.

Two of them are boys ages 14 and 15 who will be arraigned in family court, police said.

The five other suspects, all Hempstead residents, are to be arraigned Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.

They were identified as Ronis Canales, 16, of Front Street; Anthony Mejia-Maldonado, 16, of Perry Street; Trevon Eatman, 16, of Weeks Avenue; Jordan Calderon, 17, of Fulton Avenue; and Jefry Martinez, 19, of Villa Court.
