Three men were arrested Friday after their vehicle was stopped on a Uniondale street and drugs and a gun were found inside, police said.
Luis S. Arguello, 20, was driving a 2002 Nissan Altima on Park Place with passengers Dashaun L. Davis, 18, and Dillan Campbell, 20, when First Precinct officers from Nassau County police halted the sedan and conducted a search, police said in a news release.
The officers found marijuana and a baby bottle containing liquid prescription codeine inside the car, and a loaded .32 caliber revolver in the trunk, according to the news release.
The three men, all of Uniondale, were arrested without incident just after 5 p.m., police said.
Arguello was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm and two counts of unlawful possession of marijuana, the news release states.
Davis was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and Campbell was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
The three are to be arraigned Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead.
