A Stony Brook woman was arrested Saturday after Suffolk County police said her employee sold alcohol to a minor.

Sein Sein Win, 49, of Stony Brook, owner of University Asian Market, 1099 Route 25A, was issued an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in First District Court in Central Islip on May 12.

Police identified the employee only as an 18-year-old and said the arrest was made during an investigation Saturday night into the sale of alcohol at nine businesses.

The other eight establishments, which included gas stations and grocery stores in East Setauket, Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station, were found to be in compliance.
