Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk police are seeking the public's help identifying and locating the woman who they said stole packages delivered by UPS to a Middle Island home on Feb. 24, 2016 and fled in a gray Saturn SUV. Credit: SCPD

She stole UPS packages last month from a home in Middle Island, Suffolk County police said.

Too bad for her she was caught on video surveillance stealing the items from the home on Quarrystone Lane, and police also have surveillance footage of her getaway car.

Police are asking anyone with information about the woman — and the larceny — to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will remain confidential.

Police said the thefts took place at the Middle Island home at about 1:05 p.m. Feb. 24. During the theft, police said, the woman, seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with “White Plains New York” in white letters across the front, took packages containing a camping knife and smartphone products.

She then fled in a gray Saturn sport utility vehicle, police said.
