A mixed trio from upstate have been charged with felony robbery in Tuesday's robbery of the Sawyer Savings Bank in Saugerties.

Rochester residents John B. Streb, Jr., 27, and Ryan W. Novick, 31, along with Amanda K. Muhs, 29 of Albany were apprehended shortly before 4 p.m., just three hours after the robbery took place. No one was injured, though the alleged thieves did make off with an undetermined amount of cash from the bank on Market Street.

Saugerties deputy police chief Joseph Sinagra said no weapons were used. A coordinated effort led the cops to the Ulster Service Area in Ruby, though Sinagra did not specify where the arrests took place.
