Vanessa Sanon took $29G in bank mistake, cops say

Detectives arrested a West Hempstead woman Thursday who they said took more than $29,000 that was mistakenly wired to her bank account, Nassau County police said.
Vanessa Sanon, 29, of Mahopac Road, was arrested in New Hyde Park, police said.
According to detectives, Sanon received wire transfers totaling $150,000 on Jan. 8 to her HSBC account from the Bank of China. She withdrew cash and made purchases using the account, which cost the bank more than $29,000.
She is being charged with grand larceny and is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead, police said.
