Suffolk County police are searching for two suspects who stole wallets, cash and credit and debit cards from "multiple" vehicles in the Town of Brookhaven in June.

Police said the suspects are wanted for grand larcenies and said they fled in a light-colored sedan.

The thefts occurred in neighborhoods in Setauket, Terryville, Stony Brook and Port Jefferson, police said. Police have not detailed how many vehicles the two suspects stole items from.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. Tipsters can also submit an anonymous tip using an app downloaded through the App Store or Google Play by searching P3 Tips, or they can submit them online at www.P3Tips.com.

All calls, text messages and emails will remain confidential.

Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in the case.
