Police responding to a disturbance call Monday evening arrested a 36-year-old man and charged him with public lewdness after they said he exposed himself to two teenagers in Village Green Park, north of Sunrise Highway in Valley Stream.

Nassau County police said Rodolfo Ernesto Umana, of Valley Stream, was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child, since one of the alleged victims was 16 years old. Police said Umana also had three active bench warrants.

The incident began, police said, when the two teen victims, aged 16 and 19, were approached by Umana in the park, which borders the Long Island Rail Road station, and he "began exposing himself" to them just before 8 p.m.

The two immediately called 911, police said.

Police said Umana was arrested without incident and said investigators are trying to determine if there are additional victims. Detectives are asking anyone who might be a victim to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.

Umana faces arraignment Tuesday in First District Court, Hempstead. It was not immediately clear if he is represented by counsel.
