Suffolk County police said they are looking for the driver of a Nissan Maxima who crashed into the back of a West Babylon house Monday morning.

Police said the driver fled after crashing into a back wall of the residence on Phoenix Road around 8 a.m.

The car was traveling east on Gordon Avenue when it crossed onto Little East Neck Road and then into the house’s backyard, police said.

A woman was on the second floor of the house when the car hit it but she was not injured, police said.

Building officials assessed damage to the house, a police spokeswoman said.
