A Westbury woman who forged prescriptions for 900 pain pills while working for a physician in Mineola was arrested Thursday afternoon, police said.

Nassau County police said Rosa Bonilla, 35, of Oliver Avenue, was charged with 10 counts of second-degree forgery. She is scheduled for arraignment Friday in First District Court in Hempstead.

Police said that between December and March, Bonilla, while employed by the unnamed physician, forged 10 prescriptions — each for 90 Percocet pills.

An investigation led to her arrest at her home in Westbury, police said.
