Nassau police are looking for two men they said robbed a woman in New Cassel on Thursday as she was pushing her child in a stroller.

The incident occurred at 9:20 p.m. According to detectives, the men approached the 28-year-old woman as she was walking along Tennyson Avenue with her 1-year-old child in a stroller. The first man walked in front of the woman and blocked her path while the second man lifted the stroller and demanded her purse as he held a knife to the child. The first man then grabbed her purse and both fled on foot.

Detectives ask anyone with information about this crime to contact the Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls are confidential and all callers will remain anonymous.
