A woman caught on surveillance video is being sought by police, who want to question her about the unauthorized use of a debit card stolen, along with cash, from a cafe in Babylon back in December.

Suffolk County police said the cash and Visa debit card were in a Coach purse stolen from a victim at the Post Office Cafe on Main Street on Dec. 6.

The card was used a the Bob’s store in West Islip on Dec. 7 and the woman being sought then was stopped from attempting to use the card at the Nike store at the Tanger Outlets in Deer Park later that same day, the transaction declined, police said.

Anyone with information about the woman — or the crime — is being asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.

All calls will remain confidential.
