Woman stole $2,000 worth of drugs from Syosset CVS, police say

Nassau County police have released a surveillance image of a woman they said they are seeking in connection with the theft of drugs worth more than $2,100 from a CVS store on Cold Spring Road in Syosset on July 2, 2016. Credit: NCPD
Police said she stole Zyrtec, Allegra, NicoDerm and Prevacid.
Now, they’ve released surveillance footage of the woman they said took the items — more than $2,100 worth — from a CVS store on Cold Spring Road in Syosset last month, placing them into a Hallmark bag and walking out without paying.
Nassau County police said the incident took place on July 2 at 4:14 p.m. They said the total value of the haul was $2,159.
The woman was last seen fleeing west on Cold Spring Road.
Police are asking anyone with information about the grand larceny to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
