Who stole the donation jar from a gas station in Bayport?

That’s what Suffolk County police want to know and now they have released a photo of the woman they believe took it, asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.

Callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. All calls will remain confidential.

Police said the jar was taken off the counter at a Speedway station on Montauk Highway at about 6:50 p.m. on Feb. 22. The jar contained donations for the Cohen Children’s Medical Center.

It was not immediately clear how much money was involved.
