A lit firecracker placed inside a 2017 Mercedes-Benz parked on State Avenue in Wyandanch on Saturday "caused substantial damage," Suffolk police said, and authorities are offering a cash reward for information leading to an arrest of the two male suspects.

Both clad in dark clothing, the duo broke a rear triangle window in the car and inserted the M-80 firecracker about 1:50 a.m. before fleeing east, police said.

Suffolk police posted surveillance video of the incident on YouTube.com/scpdtv titled "Wanted for Wyandanch Arson 22-388381."
