Detectives are investigating a shooting Thursday night in Wyandanch that left a 59-year-old man wounded.

Suffolk County police received a call of shots fired on Grand Boulevard., and when officers arrived they found a Wyandanch man had been shot.

He was transported to a hospital where he was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Details were not immediately available.

Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives continue to investigate.
