Police said an ad placed on Craigslist offering to sell "sour diesel," "kush" and "purple urkle" -- strains of marijuana -- got a Mattituck man arrested Wednesday.
David M. Boscola, 34, of 5106 W. Mill Neck Rd., was arrested by Nassau County police Narcotics / Vice Bureau detectives at 9:30 p.m. during an arranged meeting in Plainview. He was charged with the criminal sale of marijuana and criminal possession of marijuana.
Police said the detectives, while conducting a narcotics investigation, discovered the ad on Craigslist -- and arranged to meet with Boscola on Round Swamp Road.
Police said Boscola was arrested "without incident."
Boscola was released to probation at his arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead, according to online court records. He is due back in court Dec. 16.
