A driver was killed when her car struck a curb, then a tree, in Garden City on Thursday night, according to Nassau County police.

Latisha German, 24, of upstate Menands suffered “multiple trauma injuries,” police said. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead. 

The crash occurred at 10:24 p.m., police said.

German was driving a 2006 Nissan south on Clinton Road when her car hit the curb at Poplar Street and crossed into the northbound lane, police said. Her car then struck at tree at the corner of Clinton Road and Garden Street.
