Flyover will take place over the Hudson Friday morning

The New York City Police Department said a military flyover will take place at 11:15 a.m. Friday over the Verrazano Bridge and continuing north over the Hudson River.

New York City and the military have begun announcing such training exercises after one that was not publicized scared thousands of city residents after a government aircraft flew over the city last year.
