Ex-Brookhaven assistant town attorney Ray Negron said he has 752 signatures in his bid to run a Republican primary against Conservative town board member Jane Bonner -- despite a town GOP robo-call aimed at scaring away party voters from signing his petitions. The Mount Sinai lawyer, 42, said he's waging a primary because voters are angry that political parties are interested only in controlling town jobs rather than serving the public. Town GOP Chairman Jesse Garcia acknowledged the call blasting petitions other than Bonner's as Democratic dirty tricks -- charges denied by Negron. -- Rick Brand
