Hidden spots on Long Island

Long Islanders moved the clocks ahead one hour last night, "springing" ahead, and woke up to what felt like spring weather: sunny with temperatures in the high 40s by the afternoon.
It sounds like a perfect day to shake off the winter doldrums and take in some fresh air by discovering (or rediscovering) these hidden places on Long Island.
