The storm toppled thousands of trees, causing widespread outages and blocking roads. Wind gusts were between 70 and 80 mph and&nbsp;more than 420,000 PSEG customers lost power during the high heat and humidity. Gov.&nbsp;Cuomo declared a State of Emergency for Long Island.
