A home health aide has been charged after she took a blank check from a woman she was caring for in Massapequa Park, police said.

Whitney Bell, 23, of National Boulevard in Long Beach, was working for a 65-year-old woman when she removed the check from her home without the victim’s knowledge, police said.

On Aug. 5, 2016, Bell wrote the check out to herself for $600 and deposited it into her personal bank account and withdrew the funds Sept. 1, police said.

Bell was arrested Sunday when she surrendered to Seventh Squad detectives.

She was charged with petit larceny and is to be arraigned Monday at First District Court, Hempstead.
