Nassau cops ID woman, 28, found dead in Floral Park motel
Homicide investigators have identified a 28-year-old woman found dead at a Floral Park motel as Destinee Lavender, of Elmont, Nassau police said Tuesday.
The death is considered a homicide, police said. At 1:10 p.m. Sunday, the Floral Park Police Department received reports of a body at the motel on Jericho Turnpike, authorities said.
No additional details, such as how Lavender died,or why her death is considered a homicide, were immediately available Tuesday night.
