John Bolz killed in Laurel Hollow crash

A Mineola man was killed Monday night when his car crashed into a light pole in Laurel Hollow, Nassau County police said.

John Bolz, 39, was driving on Cold Spring Road at 8:43 p.m. when his 2005 Chevrolet hit the pole, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene and the vehicle was impounded for a safety check, police said.
