The annual Jones Beach Air Show is slated for the Fourth of July weekend this year, not Memorial Day, to tie into the 250th anniversary celebrations of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

FourLeaf and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announced that tickets for the Jones Beach Chalet would go on sale Friday, for those looking for an exclusive — and tax deductible — experience.

Tickets are $250 for early-bird buyers and, according to a state parks statement on Wednesday, come with a fully catered continental breakfast, a hot and cold lunch buffet, beverage service including beer, wine and soda, plus VIP parking and private restroom facilities.

Seating in the chalet is shared; full tables may be reserved.

For the July 4 date, food service will be adjusted, organizers said, to include a hot and cold dinner buffet.

The available dates and times are: July 4, which includes a fireworks program but no air show, from 5-10 p.m.; July 5 and July 6, 7 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday has air show performances.

The tickets are available beginning Friday at 9 a.m. by visiting the airshow website at https://fourleafairshow.com. After May 31, tickets will be available at regular price, which is $275. A veteran's discount is available, those tickets go for $155. Veterans must purchase those at the state parks website.

For visitors who want to attend just the air show and fireworks, park officials note admission is free with a beach parking fee of $10. Jones Beach also is accessible via public transit provided by Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) bus from the Freeport Long Island Rail Road station. That service is hourly with drop offs and pickups at the West Bathhouse location only; the Central Mall and East Bathhouse will not be accessible due to road closures.

This year's lineup will include performances by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and the U.S. Army Golden Knights parachute team. Also scheduled are: a flyover by a C-17 Globemaster cargo plane flown by the 105th Airlift Wing of the New York Air National Guard; a formation demonstration including a Lockheed HC-130 and Sikorsky HH 60 helicopters flown by the Air National Guard's 106th Rescue Wing; performances by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds flight demonstration team; civilian performances by Australian stunt pilot Aarron Deliu and pilots from the Aviation Center at Farmingdale State College; and flyovers by planes from the American Airpower Museum.
