Assault in Rockville Centre; armed robbery in Hauppauge

Nassau police and their Crime Stoppers department are looking for two men who they say attacked another man outside a Rockville Centre store.

Police say that at about 4:20 a.m. on Feb. 27, the victim was waiting outside Starbucks on North Park Avenue when he was approached by two men asking for a cigarette. When the alleged victim gave one of the men a cigarette, he was punched in the face by the other man, and his jewelry was snatched. The two suspects ran off with the jewelry.
