At its March 25 meeting the Babylon Zoning Board of Appeals:

Amityville: Granted Bobby Lyons permission to build a second-story addition and front porch, with condition that porch not be enclosed, with insufficient front-yard setback and north side yard with roof overhang and chimney encroachment, north side of Park Street, east of Columbus Boulevard.

Babylon: Granted Thomas Iannucci permission to retain a front deck with stairs, with condition that porch not be enclosed, with insufficient distance to front street line, south side of Warren Street, west of Belmont Avenue.

West Babylon: Granted Sean Varela permission to build first- and second-floor additions and a front porch, with condition that porch not be enclosed, with insufficient front-yard setback with roof overhang and stoop encroachment, southwest corner of Sexton Road and Chelsea Avenue.

West Babylon: Granted Reiners Auto Sales (tenant)/James Gentile (property owner) permission for a special exception permit, for one year subject to covenant and restrictions previously filed, for used car sales and outdoor storage and display of cars , east side of Route 109, north of Third Street.

At its April 8 meeting the Babylon Zoning Board of Appeals:

Babylon: Granted Tara Foran permission to build a rear addition and retain a front porch with insufficient front- and rear-yard setbacks with roof overhang and stoop encroachment, west side of Portal Court, north of Foster Blvd. S.
