Bay Shore
A woman told police her pocketbook was stolen at a restaurant on East Main Street on Feb. 19. She had put the bag down on the floor in the coat check area.
The window of a 2005 Jeep Liberty parked on Third Avenue was discovered broken Feb. 17. A wallet, containing credit cards, was reported stolen from the vehicle.
A Ronkonkoma woman, 27, was arrested Feb. 14 at a store on Route 27 and charged with petty larceny for stealing jewelry, clothing and household items.
Twenty feet of metal gate was stolen from a location on Blake Avenue on Feb. 20.
A laptop, computer games and cash were stolen from a location on Eisenhower Avenue on Feb. 18. A shovel was used to break into the front door.
A snowblower was discovered stolen Feb. 17 from a backyard on First Street.
The driver-side window of a 2008 Ford Taurus on Eisenhower Road was discovered broken Feb. 14.
A portable DVD player was stolen from a 2008 Hyundai on Monterey Lane on Feb. 14.
A resident on Summerfield Circle told police that an individual came to the house Feb. 15 in response to an ad the resident placed on Craigslist.org for a piece of jewelry for sale. The "buyer" took the piece of jewelry and fled without paying.
A 2006 Hyundai Tucson on South Road was stolen Feb. 20.
Items were stolen from a store on Montauk Highway on Feb. 15.
Items, including a purse containing money and credit cards, were stolen from a 2002 Ford parked at Saf T Swim on Grand Boulevard on Feb. 14.
Tires were discovered missing Feb. 16 from a vehicle on Jackson Street.
A woman told police that she left her pocketbook unattended at a table in the Grand Buffet Chinese restaurant on Veterans Memorial Highway on Feb. 14. When she returned to the table, her pocketbook was open and credit cards had been removed.
Islip
Copper piping was stolen from a vacant house on Feb. 19. An oven and sheet rock were also reported damaged.
A Commack man, 42, was arrested Feb. 14 at the Pathmark supermarket on Islip Avenue and charged with petty larceny for stealing merchandise.
Tools and three Sadelco meters were stolen from a vehicle in the Tri-Wire Engine parking lot on Union Avenue on Feb. 18.
The front glass door at Hilary's Class Act Hair salon on Portion Road was discovered shattered Feb. 20. Cash was reported stolen from the register.
There was an incident of criminal mischief to the steering column of a vehicle on North Fifth Street on Feb. 16.
A chrome hitch ball, headlight bulbs and LED light flex bulbs were removed from a 1995 Mercury Marquis on Deer Park Avenue on Feb. 20.
A radio was taken from a vehicle on Walbridge Avenue on Feb. 15.
North Patchogue
The entry door to an apartment on Sandie Court was pried open Feb. 1. A laptop and other electronics were
reported stolen.
Ronkonkoma
A potted plant and plant stand at a residence on Pond Road were damaged Feb. 19.
Items were reported stolen from a vehicle on Cherokee Street on Feb. 14.
A flower pot was discovered broken Feb. 14 at the Grace Chapel Assembly of God on Overton Street.
Money and jewelry were discovered stolen Feb. 14 from a house on Fleets Point Drive.
A Lindenhurst man, 33, was arrested Feb. 18 at Bob's Store on Sunrise Highway and charged with petty larceny for stealing a pair of sneakers.
ELSEWHERE
Commack
The driver-side window of a 2004 Dodge on Crooked Hill Road was broken Feb. 15. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicle.
A burglary was discovered Feb. 19 at a residence on Arbor Lane. Entry was gained through a rear window. Cash and jewelry were reported stolen.
A burglary occurred at Nocellos Restaurant on Fort Salonga Road on Feb. 15. Money was reported stolen.
