A Babylon man, 35, was arrested June 22 and charged with criminal mischief for damaging a 1987 Ford Bronco parked in a Frederick Avenue driveway.


A lighthouse lawn ornament was discovered stolen June 21 from the front yard of a South Fairview Avenue house.

Bay Shore

A GPS unit was stolen June 20 from a vehicle parked on Anchor Way.

Cash was stolen from a 2003 Chrysler parked on North Gardiner Drive June 21. The door lock of the vehicle was broken to gain entry.


A 1997 green Thunderbird parked on Smithtown Avenue was stolen June 21.


A Perry Street resident told police that an unknown man entered the house June 20 by kicking in the basement kitchen window while the homeowner was out. The intruder fled the scene when the homeowner returned.

Central Islip

Copper was discovered stolen from the basement of a Date Street house June 24.


A purse containing cash was stolen June 23 from a 1998 Jeep parked in a Cedar Court driveway.

Deer Park

Aluminum sheets were reported stolen June 21 from the rear area of a strip mall located on Acorn Street.

A GPS unit was stolen from a 1997 Nissan Altima parked on West Seventh Street on June 20.

East Islip

A stereo was stolen from a vehicle parked on Robin Hood Drive on June 20.


A vehicle parked on Dolphin Lane was discovered broken into June 20, and an iPod, GPS unit and credit cards were stolen.


A man reported his wallet, containing credit cards, was stolen at the 7-Eleven store on Broadway Avenue on June 20.


An iPod and a GPS unit were discovered stolen June 21 from a vehicle parked on Christie Joe Court.

Lake Ronkonkoma

A 1994 Toyota Camry, left unattended outside a 7-Eleven store on Smithtown Boulevard with the motor running, was stolen June 20.

North Amityville

A gun was fired into a rear window of a 2007 Toyota Camry on Jefferson Avenue on June 21. No injuries were reported.

A 1994 Honda Civic was stolen from a Poplar Road location June 21.

North Babylon

The front glass window of Nazar Deli on Deer Park Avenue was smashed during a burglary June 21, triggering the alarm. The cash register, a laptop and prepaid phone cards were reported stolen.

North Bay Shore

Graffiti was discovered spray-painted on a building and equipment at CRJ Auto and Truck Repair on Brentwood Road June 22.


A wallet containing money and a credit card was stolen from a vehicle parked in a Peconic Street parking lot June 22.


An incident of criminal mischief was discovered June 21 at the Lincoln Avenue Elementary School on Lincoln Avenue. A garbage can had been thrown through a window of the building.

The coin box attached to a children's ride in front of Mother Goose Toys on Main Street was discovered stolen June 22.

West Babylon

Damage to the wall of a building located on Sawyer Avenue was discovered June 20.

West Islip

A security badge and a wallet left a vehicle parked on Clay Avenue were reported stolen June 21.
