At its July 22 meeting, the Babylon Zoning Board of Appeals:
Deer Park: Granted Phil's Auto Body, Inc. (tenant)/Frank and Marion Abadie (property owner) permission, for one year, for a special-exception permit to conduct a public garage as an auto body shop in connection with a portion of an existing building, west side of Brook Avenue, south of DeKay Place.
Deer Park: Granted Joseph Danisi Trucks Inc. (tenant)/Great American Realty Co. of Deer Park, LLC (property owner) permission, for three years, for the renewal of a special-exception permit to conduct a public garage as a truck repair shop; for outdoor storage of trucks waiting for repair (not permitted) in connection with a portion of an existing building (previously approved for one year), south side of Grand Boulevard, east of Jefryn Boulevard.
North Babylon: Granted Marilyn Neidecker permission to build a second-story addition and retain a porch converted to a family room, front concrete patio, hot tub and rear grade level deck with insufficient front-yard setback and rear-yard setback with roof overhang and distance to street lines and rear lot lines, northwest corner of Duke and Noble streets.
West Babylon: Granted L&F Real Estate Holdings LLC permission to legalize an open permit for detached garage that is now attached, with insufficient rear-yard setback with roof overhang, northeast corner of Phoenix and Oregon roads.
