ACTIONS
At its May 6 meeting, the Babylon Zoning Board of Appeals:
Deer Park: Granted Howard and Margaret Harsh permission to retain a front porch, as amended, with condition that the porch not be enclosed, with insufficient front-yard setback, west side of West 15th Street, north of Westview Avenue.
Farmingdale: Granted Peter Hogger permission to build two one-story additions with insufficient front-yard setback and west-side yard with roof overhang encroachment, north side of Clinton Street, east of Maple Street.
North Babylon: Granted John Roccotagliata permission to build an in-ground pool, with condition that applicant satisfy the requirements of NYSDEC Fresh Water Wetland and adhere to any and all conditions that may be attached to this permit for this proposal, north side of Brookside Avenue, west of Deer Park Avenue.
West Babylon: Granted Joseph Sousa permission to maintain an in-ground pool, with condition that there be no raised apparatus around or in the pool, southwest corner of Glendale Road and Avenue C.
Wyandanch: Granted Uri Sion permission to build a front porch and a second-story addition, with condition that front porch not be enclosed, with insufficient front-yard setback with roof overhang and stoop encroachment, east side of North 18th Street, north of Washington Avenue.
