At its March 11 meeting, the Babylon Zoning Board of Appeals:
Copiague: Granted Paul and Wendy Merandi permission to build a front porch with condition it not be enclosed and retain a shed with insufficient front-yard setback with roof overhang and stoop encroachment and distance to south-side lot line, west side of East Drive, south of North Drive.
Lindenhurst: Granted Thomas and Janet Margaroli permission to build a rear dormer and retain a grade-level deck with condition that the deck not be enclosed with insufficient side yard and building area with roof overhang and chimney encroachment, west side of North Fulton Avenue, south of Spiegelhagen Street.
North Babylon: Granted Jennifer Price permission, as amended, to build two first-floor front additions and retain a shed and gazebo with insufficient front-yard setback with roof-overhang encroachment and distance to lot lines, north side of Strathmore Drive.
West Babylon: Granted Robert Carberry permission to build a shed with insufficient distance to street lines, southwest corner of Plymouth Street and Beachwood Drive.
Wyandanch: Granted Taxi El Universal Inc. (tenant) / Belinda Marquis (property owner) permission, for one year, for outdoor storage of five taxicabs with condition that there be no vehicles on premises after midnight or vehicle repairs on site, northeast corner of Straight Path and Irving Avenue.
