Centenarian: Catherine 'Kay' Marino

CATHERINE MARINO was born on July 2, 1923, in Brooklyn. Catherine, who goes by Kay, met her husband John (now deceased) at a dance and they were married in October 1946. They moved to Queens, where she still resides. Kay worked for the Navy Department, Stanley Home Products and St. John’s University. She has two children, five grandchildren (one deceased) and four great-grandchildren. Kay enjoys gardening, reading and daily prayer. She celebrated with pizza and cake at home with family and friends.
