Centenarian: ANGELINA STAGNITTA

ANGELINA STAGNITTAwas born June 23, 1913, in Manhattan. She married Nick Stagnitta and was widowed after 69 years. She raised her children, Robert and Frances, in Flushing, Queens. Angelina later moved to Smithtown and, after retiring, moved to Florida. She has three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. When asked what she attributes her longevity to she said "a glass of red wine every day and having a mild manner in daily life." She celebrated her birthday in Hudson, Fla., with family and friends.
