Centenarian: Annie M. Berntsson
Annie M. Berntsson was born April 4, 1913, in New Brunswick, Canada. Her family moved to Maine when she was 2, then to Boston, where she grew up. She married O. Hugo Berntsson in 1934 and had three children: Delores Hines (now deceased), Connie Ashby of Bayport and O. Hugo Berntsson Jr. of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of East Patchogue. Annie traveled with her husband to all of the 50 states. She was widowed in 1998. Annie lived in Bayport before moving to East Patchogue, where she now lives with her daughter Connie. Annie enjoys being with family. She celebrated her birthday at Sunset Harbor/Dockside 500 in Patchogue with family and friends, many of whom traveled from around the country.
