ANTOINETTE (ANNETTE) LOVRETA was born July l0, l911, to Anthony and Rose Idone of Huntington. Annette graduated from Wilfred Beauty Academy at 17. She met Raymond Lovreta at Roseland in Manhattan. They married in 1946 and had a daughter, Joan. They lived in the Chelsea section of Manhattan and moved to Huntington in 1949. Annette worked styling hair, doing facials and cosmetic treatments at her home and in salons. Her clients became her lifetime personal friends. Annette was widowed in 1982. She retired from Town and Country Salon in Huntington at age 88. She lives at Gurwin Nursing Home and Rehabilitation in Commack, where she enjoys arts and crafts and the entertainment. She celebrated her birthday there with family and friends.
