Centenarian: Charles M. Coyne
Charles M. Coyne was born Oct. 5, 1912, in Brooklyn. He also lived in Queens. Charles worked as a printer. He and his wife, Eleanor, were married for 73 years before she died. He is active in Our Lady of Perpetual Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Holy Name Society and the Nocturnal Adoration Society. He enjoys reading, doing word puzzles and being with family. He has four children, 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He has lived in Lindenhurst since 1952. Charles celebrated his birthday at the Knights of Columbus hall in Lindenhurst where he is a member.
