Centenarian: Christina Beebe

Christina Beebe, née Struys, was born May 28, 1911, in Elizabeth, N.J. She attended school in Stelton, N.J. She married Dwight Beebe of Toledo, Ohio, on Nov. 17, 1935. They had six children, Thomas (now deceased), Nancy DiNunzio, Robert, Eileen Miller, Jack and Roger, and lived in East Meadow. Christina was widowed in 1997. She has 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren. She loved knitting, crocheting and sewing and was an avid reader. She lives at her daughter's home in North Bellmore where she celebrated her birthday with family and friends. Christina enjoys short excursions in the car.
