EDNA WAGNER was born June 21, 1913, in Rochdale, England. She met her husband, Arthur, there during World War II, while he was serving in the U.S. Army Air Corps. They married in 1947 and moved to the United States, settling in Queens, where they owned a candy store. After retiring they moved to Riverhead. Edna was a child model and continued modeling as an adult until 1974. She enjoys reading, feeding wild birds, doing crossword puzzles and making homemade pickles and strawberry jam. She celebrated her birthday at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Hampton Bays with friends and neighbors.
