Centenarian: Elisa Lodato

ELISA LODATO, née Scardia, was born Oct. 22, 1911, in Coney Island, Brooklyn. She married Joseph Lodato in 1937 and had two children, Leonard and Jo-Ann. They lived in Douglaston and spent weekends in Sag Harbor, where they moved after retiring. Elisa was married for 57 years before being widowed. She lives in East Islip with her granddaughter and her family. Elisa has five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She celebrated her birthday at the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip with family.
