Florence Weidner was born Jan. 28, 1912, in Brooklyn, and raised her children in South Ozone Park. She married Henry Weidner and had eight children, Barbara, Andrew, Christine, Henry, Denis, twins George and Eileen (Eileen is now deceased), and Veronica. In 1970, Florence and Henry moved to Holbrook. She was widowed in 1992. Florence lives with Denis and Andrew. She has 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She celebrated her birthday at home with family and friends. Florence received a congratulatory letter from President Barack Obama.
